Sompo has promoted Jasmine Chan to Senior Vice President of Ceded Reinsurance for Asia Pacific, effective immediately, the insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Singapore-based Chan has been with Sompo for 23 years and brings over 30 years of APAC underwriting and reinsurance experience to the position.
In her new role, she will coordinate with the Commercial and Consumer underwriting leads across APAC and manage market and broker relationships alongside the global ceded reinsurance team, Sompo said in its announcement.
