Willis has named Takashi Kato as its new Head of Marine for Japan, according to an announcement made by Oliver Scarr, the business’s Head of Cargo for Asia.
Kato brings over two decades of industry experience, specialising in marine and cargo insurance and having worked with some of Japan’s leading companies.
“His particular area of focus has been in the design of bespoke global programs for companies with a multinational footprint – something that will be invaluable to us as we look to expand our capabilities in this space,” Scarr said.
