Global broking and financial advisory firm WTW has elevated Catherine Tait to National Manager, Construction for New Zealand, the business announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday.

Tait was promoted from her previous role as WTW’s Technical Director, Finex New Zealand. She brings over two decades of experience to the position, having previously held senior roles as Branch Manager at BrokerWeb Risk Services and Specialty Strategy Leader at Marsh Australia and New Zealand.

In the role, Tait will spearhead the firm’s construction business and advance its client strategy and market presence, WTW said, adding the appointment is “a key step in strengthening our construction capabilities and supporting continued growth in the New Zealand market.”

The move follows two key appointments in May in APAC, Luke Ware was named Head of Asia in an expanded leadership role, and Sukhmeet Singh was appointed WTW’s Head of Transformation and Integrated Solutions – India.
