WTW New Zealand has appointed Rachael Pettigrew as Head of Risk Advisory, the global brokerage announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Pettigrew started her role this week and is based in WTW’s Wellington office. She will lead the risk and analytics practice in New Zealand and join the global risk and analytics team, WTW said.
Pettigrew has a strong government background and brings over 15 years of insurance and risk management experience to the new role. She had been serving as Insurance Lead at the Department of Internal Affairs (NZ) since July 2023.
Her previous roles also include Manager at the All of Government Risk Financing & Insurance at the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment; Associate Director at KPMG New Zealand; and Risk Services Manager at Inland Revenue NZ.
