(Re)in Summary

• Zurich Malaysia and Kenanga Group have partnered to distribute general insurance, takaful, life insurance, and family takaful through Kenanga’s advisory-led and digital channels across Malaysia.
The collaboration embeds insurance and takaful into holistic financial planning, including an exclusive group takaful scheme for Kenanga Investors clients.
• Zurich’s protection products will be available on Kenanga’s digital platforms such as KDi GO.

Zurich Malaysia and Kenanga Investment Bank Berhad have joined forces to expand the delivery of general insurance and takaful, life insurance, and family takaful through Kenanga Group’s advisory-led and digital distribution channels, the businesses announced on 29 January.

Building on their existing ties, the deal steps up efforts to make insurance and takaful a core part of wealth and legacy planning in Malaysia. It pairs Zurich Malaysia’s protection expertise with Kenanga Group’s investment, advisory, and digital platforms to expand access to more relevant, tailored solutions.

As part of the collaboration, a comprehensive group takaful scheme underwritten by Zurich Malaysia will be offered exclusively to clients of Kenanga Investors Berhad, enabling its financial adviser representatives to offer a wider range of Zurich Malaysia insurance and takaful solutions. Zurich Malaysia’s protection solutions will also be made available within Kenanga Group’s digital platforms, including KDi GO.

“This partnership builds upon the longstanding relationship with Kenanga Group, reflecting our mutual focus on delivering more relevant and accessible protection solutions,” said Steven Choy, chairman of Zurich General Insurance Malaysia Berhad and Zurich Life Insurance Malaysia.

Both groups said they would continue developing contextual protection offerings linked to life events and financial milestones to deliver a more connected advisory and digital experience across the client journey.
