Howden has welcomed Franky Mok as its new senior director, financial lines in Hong Kong, the company announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday.
Mok joins the broker from Marsh, where he spent 18 years and was most recently the leader of its financial and professional (FinPro) liability.
“With nearly two decades of industry experience, Franky now leads our Financial Lines Practice, advising clients across a wide range of products – including cyber liability, professional indemnity, directors & officers’ liability, crime, and clinical trial insurance,” Howden said.
Mok’s appointment follows a series of recent hires by Howden in Asia Pacific, including Jennifer Tiang’s as the broker’s new regional practice lead, financial lines, Asia, announced yesterday. Among other appointments, Cheryl Yi Min Poon returned to Singapore as director in Howden Asia’s multinational client practice, Howden Re tapped Renuka Janwalkar head of APAC cat analytics while separately promoting Eva Li to GM for facultative reinsurance, China; and Hugo Thornhill was namedas head of renewable energy, APAC.
