CTF Life has promoted Betty Lee to chief product officer, effective 1 April 2026, the Hong Kong-based insurer announced on LinkedIn on Wednesday.

Lee returned to the business in September 2024 and had been serving as chief capital officer. Her previous experience includes nearly two decades at SunLife across two stints, including roles such as head of transformation and chief product officer. In her new role, Lee will lead the firm’s end-to-end product strategy, covering savings, protection, and investment portfolios, and chair the Product Strategy Committee, according to CTF Life.

“A respected insurance leader, Betty brings extensive experience across actuarial, product, transformation, and capital management in Hong Kong and Southeast Asia,” the insurer added.

In January, the business appointed Carol Mo to the expanded role of chief investment and ALM officer. In October last year, AM Best affirmed the insurer’s ‘A- (Strong) ‘ financial rating on the back of stronger insurance and investment results in Financial Year 2025.
