Howden has appointed Jung Yoon (Chloe) Cha as associate director, M&A Asia, as the broker continues to expand its transactional lines and M&A capabilities across the region.
Based in Singapore, Cha joins Howden from BMS Group, where she served as director of the Korea Desk, advising clients on insurance brokerage and mergers and acquisitions-related risk solutions.
She brings more than a decade of experience in the South Korean insurance market, having previously held roles at Meritz Fire & Marine Insurance and Aon in Seoul.
Announcing the move on Thursday, Howden said, “Combining strong analytical capabilities with a client-focused approach, Chloe brings both technical expertise and practical insight to help clients navigate increasingly complex deal environments.”
Her appointment follows a series of recent hires by Howden aimed at expanding its specialist capabilities across Asia, including Kyle Chan as senior director, M&A Asia, and Cindy Yeo as director, M&A Asia, and Zhong Xian Lam as senior associate in its Advisory & Portfolio Solutions team. Howden also had an earlier expansion of its M&A insurance team in the region, making 12 hires across Singapore, Greater China and Japan.
