WTW has announced two senior appointments to its health & benefits business in Singapore.
The company has hired Nicholas Tan as head of business development and named Daniel Teoh as the head of benefits advisory and analytics, the company announced in a LinkedIn post.
Tan joins WTW with nearly a decade of experience in APAC benefits consulting, covering strategy, benchmarking, vendor negotiations and client advisory. He joins from Lockton, where he was vice president and head of new business.
Before Lockton, Tan held roles at Mercer, Santa Fe Relocation and AIMS Immigration Specialist.
Teoh brings 18 years of experience in employee benefits consulting, health analytics and actuarial advisory across the Asia-Pacific region. He joins from Aon, where he most recently served as regional analytics lead.
Teoh has also held actuarial roles at AIA Singapore and CommInsure.
“Their appointments further strengthen our ability to help organisations design health and benefits programmes that sustain a healthy and high-performing workforce while managing cost and complexity,” said Han Wei Fong, country leader for the Singapore operations.
The appointments follow a series of leadership changes across WTW’s regional operations. The broker recently appointed Bruce Tsoi as head of property and casualty (P&C) for Hong Kong and Macau, while Thara Ing joined its regional mergers and acquisitions team as senior associate.
In India, WTW appointed Srishti Nigam as senior manager in its FINEX claims team in June, followed by Chintan Aashwini as director of its regional M&A team.
