Aon has appointed Stara Low as head of growth for its health solutions business in Singapore, as the broker continues to expand its employee health and benefits capabilities in the city-state.
Low joins Aon from WTW, where she most recently served as head of strategy, growth and business development. She brings experience across health, insurance and employee benefits, having also held leadership and managerial roles at Howden, JLT Asia, Aviva, AIA Singapore and Philip Securities.
“As organisations continue to rethink workforce wellbeing and health in an increasingly complex environment, Stara’s experience and insight will be instrumental in elevating how we support our clients and their people,” Richard Tan, Aon’s chief commercial officer for Southeast Asia, announced in a LinkedIn post.
Low’s appointment is the latest in a series of hires aimed at strengthening Aon’s health solutions team in Singapore. In June, the broker appointed Jonathan Koh and Theresa Loke as senior consultants, client relationship management, within the health solutions business, following the appointment of Lily Mak as head of client relationship management for health solutions in May.
The Singapore appointments form part of Aon’s broader talent build-out across Southeast Asia. Most recently, the broker named Stephen as chief executive officer for Indonesia. Alongside its recruitments, Aon has also expanded its product line-up this year, launching an AI risk diagnostic for enterprise clients and raising the capacity of its data centre lifecycle insurance programme to US$5bn.
