WTW has appointed Jayne Bok as head of Hong Kong and Macau, effective immediately, holding the role alongside her existing job as head of investments, Asia, the broker said on Tuesday.

She succeeds Sean Deehan, who joined Aon as its new APAC CEO for its strategy and technology group last month.

Bok has spent over 21 years at WTW, leading the investments business in Asia since July 2017 and serving as head of sovereign advisory, Asia, from September 2013. She also currently chairs the board of the CAIA Association and holds the CFA and CAIA designations.

In the expanded role, she will strengthen WTW’s position in Hong Kong and Macau, deliver a unified client experience and position the company as an integrated advisory partner across its People, Risk and Capital solutions, the company said.

“Her extensive experience supporting institutional investors across Asia has given her a broad perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing clients, which will be invaluable as we continue to strengthen our presence and deliver connected solutions in Hong Kong,” said Luke Ware, head of Asia at WTW.

The appointment follows WTW’s hire of Bruce Tsoi from Marsh to head property and casualty for Hong Kong and Macau, and the appointment of Andrew Morgan to lead expatriate and high-end medical solutions in Asia Pacific.
