Generali Central Insurance has appointed Prem Sivadas as chief commercial officer, the Indian general insurer said in a post on LinkedIn.

He joins after a short stint at Neo Risk Management & Insurance Brokers, where he was director of corporate sales from late 2025. Before that, he spent close to four years at Prudent Insurance Brokers and four years at Bharti AXA General Insurance as senior vice president for corporate sales.

Sivadas will lead the corporate sales function, with a remit covering broker partnerships, the insurer’s corporate portfolios, including Generali’s global corporate and commercial (GC&C) business, sales capability and premium growth across regions.

The hire adds to a run of senior appointments at the India joint venture between Generali and Central Bank of India, which named Sandeep Rathi senior vice president and head of underwriting in August. Krishnamoorthy Rao was appointed managing director and chief executive of the business with effect from 1 April.
