Eastspring Investments, the asset management business of Prudential plc, has appointed Pierre-Julien Jandrain as chief risk officer, effective 12 October 2026, the company said on Thursday.
Based in Singapore, Jandrain brings more than 20 years of experience across investment risk, portfolio construction and performance management.
He joined Eastspring in 2022 as head of portfolio risk and was appointed head of investment risk and performance in 2025. Prior to joining the asset manager, Jandrain held investment risk leadership and portfolio risk roles at PIMCO, Invesco and Amundi.
Jandrain succeeds Terence Lim as head of Eastspring’s risk, compliance and legal function. He will report to Chief Executive Officer Rajeev Mittal, and join the company’s executive management committee.
“PJ has played an important role in strengthening our investment risk capabilities, while bringing a strong combination of technical expertise, commercial judgement and leadership,” said Mittal.
The appointment comes days after Chan San San moved to Eastspring Investments as chief partnership officer. The former Prudential Singapore CEO stepped down in September to join the asset manager’s executive management committee.
Earlier in August, Eastspring appointed Ghislain Périssé as head of insurance solutions, while Fanny Lee joined the company as head of intermediary sales for Hong Kong in May.
