Willis has appointed Jonathan A. Nepomuceno to lead its financial, professional, and executive risks (FINEX) business in the Philippines, the global broker announced on Friday.

Before joining Willis, Nepomuceno worked at Marsh Philippines for more than four years, most recently serving as vice president. Earlier in his career, he also worked at Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Malayan Insurance Company, and ACE Insurance.

In his new role, Nepomuceno will report to Albert Andrew, the head of FINEX for Southeast Asia.

“Jonathan brings extensive experience across Financial Lines in the Philippines market, with a strong track record in delivering strategic, client-focused solutions,” Jeremy Wall, managing director and global head of FINEX, said in the announcement.

Wall added that Nepomuceno’s market relationships and technical expertise, including in cyber, will be instrumental in supporting the growth of the firm’s financial lines business in the Philippines.

The appointment follows a series of senior hires and promotions across Willis’ Asia-Pacific operations. Recent moves include the appointment of Daniel Choi to lead its FINEX business in Malaysia, Srishti Nigam as senior manager in the FINEX claims team, and Cheryl Lee to lead its financial lines business in Singapore.
