Howden Asia has appointed Zoe Zhang as regional director of its digital infrastructure practice and technology, the broker announced on Tuesday.

Zhang, who will be based in Singapore, joins Howden after spending just over a year at Greenberg Traurig in Dubai, most recently as an associate. Earlier in her career, she held roles at Linklaters, MinterEllison and Bradley Allen Love Lawyers.

She has specialist experience in technology and digital infrastructure advisory, having worked across Australia, Singapore and Dubai.

“Her understanding of complex contractual risk in particular will bring invaluable expertise to the challenges faced by our data centre clients,” Hamish Ravindran, Howden’s chief client officer, said on LinkedIn.

Zhang’s appointment comes amid a string of senior hires by Howden across Asia-Pacific. In Australia, the broker recently named Catherine Osborne as head of technical and claims and Simon Calabrese as head of entertainment and leisure.

The broker also appointed Mohd Inam as executive vice president for business development in India.
