Marsh New Zealand has announced the appointment of Sammie Chan as Asia Client Services Leader.
This role marks the launch of Marsh’s Asia Client Services in New Zealand, a global specialty practice which delivers risk management and insurance services for clients from China and other Asian business communities.
Chan, who took on her new role this week, reports directly to Tom Delaney, Marsh’s Head of Commercial in New Zealand. Her appointment comes at a time when the opportunities for Marsh’s Asian clients in New Zealand, particularly in Auckland where 11% of the population is of Chinese descent, are expanding due to expected growth in offshore investment.
Before joining Marsh, Chan served as Asian Practice Leader at Willis Towers Watson.
