AXA XL has promoted Yannick Daucourt to the role of Global Chief Underwriting Officer, Specialty Niche, effective 1 July, the global (re)insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Daucourt has served with AXA XL for over twenty years. He has been elevated from his role as Chief Underwriting Officer Specialty for APAC and Europe, which he has held since October 2020. In this position, he oversaw lines of business, including art and species, political risk, war and terrorism, sports and leisure, and aquaculture.
Daucourt’s previous positions at AXA XL include Regional Leader, Europe – Art, Specie & Bloodstock; and EMEA Regional Manager for Fine Art & Specie.
