AXA XL has announced the appointment of Belinda Luu and Ben Dooley as Energy Transition Risk Consultants for APAC & Europe, with both reporting to Laura Watson, Energy Transition Leader for Risk Consulting.

Luu and Dooley bring notable experience from the energy sector to their roles. Before joining AXA XL, Australia-based Luu previously served in Qenos as Process Engineer from 2022 to 2024, and in Chevron in key project roles from 2015 to 2022, the most recent being Process Safety Specialist, according to LinkedIn.

Meanwhile, Dooley joins the company from The Netherlands, with his most recent role being Vice President of Engineering at biotech company Deep Branch. He also served at Drax Group as BECCS Engineer and Research and Innovation Engineer, and became a freelance energy consultant from 2017 to 2021.
