Howden Australia appoints Tony Cengic as Head of Surety

Howden Insurance Brokers Australia has appointed Tony Cengic as its new Head of Surety, based in Melbourne, the company announced on LinkedIn.

In his new role, Cengic will lead the development and expansion of Howden’s Surety business. He brings extensive experience from senior leadership positions at organisations including Rio Tinto, BHP Billiton, and GlaxoSmithKline, and most recently served as Group Treasurer at Subsea 7.

Commenting on his appointment, Cengic said: “I am genuinely excited to be joining Howden to develop the Surety business. Considering their proven track record of delivering outstanding results for clients and partners, I am looking forward to collaborating with the talented team at Howden to expand the broader offerings across the region.”
