FM has announced that Ben Wyatt assumed the role of Vice President, Client Service Manager, and Mairead Perkins was appointed Vice President, Assistant Client Service Manager, for Australia & New Zealand, effective 1 July 2025.

These appointments come ahead of Brendan Ellis’s upcoming relocation to London. Ellis, who currently serves as Assistant Client Service Manager for Australia Operations, is set to begin his new role as Vice President, Client Service Manager for FM’s UK and Middle East operations on 1 September.

Wyatt, a 13-year FM veteran, stepped into the role after serving as Senior Account Manager. He started his professional career with FM in 2012 as a Loss Adjuster.

Perkins joined FM Australia in 2021 and was most recently serving as an account manager for the company. She brings over 12 years of experience to her new role and has held underwriting roles at Chubb and Berkshire Hathaway Speciality Insurance.

Both Wyatt and Perkins report to Andrew Stafford, Operations Senior Vice President for Australia & New Zealand operations.

“Ben and Mairead bring fresh leadership, deep expertise, and a strong commitment to our clients, and we are excited to see them further strengthen our business in the region,” Stafford said.

The personnel changes also come as FM continues to expand its service capabilities, including the recent launch of its Intellium programme for data centre and power sector risks and its enhanced US$1bn membership credit programme for eligible policyholders.
