Bupa Hong Kong has appointed Albert Fung as Director of Group Business & Partnerships, Health Insurance, effective September 15, the health insurer announced in a media release.
Fung, who has more than 15 years of industry experience in sales, distribution, and employee benefits, moves after five years with AIA to lead Bupa’s Channel Services New Business, Client Management, and Partnerships teams.
His remit includes developing and executing sales strategies to expand Bupa’s group insurance business, with a focus on intermediary and partnership channels, and delivering the firm’s Connected Care model.
Fung’s appointment follows Bupa Hong Kong’s recent expansion efforts, including partnerships with four healthcare companies in Mainland China to address growing demand for health insurance in the Greater Bay Area, and its collaboration with New Zealand Rugby to promote wellness outreach in the city.
