Prudential Vietnam has appointed Matthew Min as Chief Partnership Distribution Officer and Lien Nguyen as Chief Risk Officer; both will be part of Prudential Vietnam’s executive committee, the company announced on LinkedIn.
Min joins from AIA, where he spent over three years in Vietnam, most recently as Chief Partnership Distribution Officer. He has nearly 15 years of experience in life insurance and bancassurance across Asia, having previously held roles at Generali Vietnam and Allianz in Singapore, and also having been part of Prudential in 2010. His appointment is subject to regulatory approval.
Nguyen joins from Sun Life, where she served as Chief Actuary and Risk Officer. She has more than 21 years of global experience in risk management, actuarial science, and strategy, including roles at AXA and other multinational insurers in the Philippines, Hong Kong, and France.
The appointments come as Prudential reported a 12% rise in new business profit to US$1.26bn in the first half of 2025. The insurer’s strong regional performance has enabled it to announce over US$5bn in shareholder returns through 2027, as detailed in its H1 results coverage.
