AIA Singapore has announced two senior leadership appointments today, with Irma Hadikusuma being promoted to Chief Marketing and Proposition Officer and Peter Lee joining from AXA Malaysia as Chief Technology Officer.
Hadikusuma is elevated from her current role of Chief Product Proposition Officer and will commence her new position as of 1 December 2023.
In her new role, Hadikusuma will unify the marketing and proposition function around AIA Singapore’s consumer-centric focus and its health and wealth strategy.
On her promotion, Wong Sze Keed, Chief Executive Officer of AIA Singapore, commented, “Irma’s appointment is testament to her achievements in advancing our commitment to customers through curating a compelling suite of innovative solutions which sets AIA Singapore apart. Her impeccable leadership track record and commitment to excellence will be key in accelerating AIA Singapore’s customer and growth agenda.”
Meanwhile, Lee’s appointment to Chief Technology Officer underscores AIA Singapore’s sustained commitment to technology and digital innovation.
Lee brings over three decades of extensive experience within the insurance and finance industry, having led multiple digital transformation initiatives across Asia and Africa.
Wong commended “Peter is a highly respected and experienced leader with over 30 years of experience in the insurance and finance industry, where he has led a series of digital transformation projects in Asia and Africa across Infrastructure, Application and Service Delivery. I am confident that Peter will be a strong addition to our management team and will continue to drive transformation for AIA Singapore’s digitalisation agenda.”
Melita Teo, who currently serves as Chief Customer and Digital Officer at AIA Singapore, was simultaneously announced as the new Chief Executive Officer designate at AIA Philippines, starting from 1 December 2023.
