AIG has hired Celina Ennis as its new Head of Operations for Australia and New Zealand, Ray Storan—Chief Operating Officer for APAC—announced on LinkedIn on Monday.

Ennis is joining AIG from Allianz, where she has served as the National Manager of Quality Assurance for Australia for the past four years. She brings over two decades of financial industry experience, having served in senior roles at Westpac Group and TAL Australia.

Commenting on the hire, Storan said he is “excited to see the impact Celina has in the role, working with the business leaders, their teams, and our partners to enable further growth in these key markets.”

AIG has appointed several personnel to key APAC posts this year, including the promotion of Kathleen Warden to General Manager for Australia, Thanathon Kiratipasuk joining AIG Thailand as General Manager and CEO, and Harprit Singh Narang as APAC Regional Cyber Leader.
