Cynthia Sze has been named the General Manager of AIG Hong Kong & Macau, commencing from 1 November, pending regulatory approval.

Sze joined AIG in 2010 as the Head of Broker Relations for Major Accounts, MN and Financial Lines in Hong Kong.

Since April 2017, she has held the position of Head of Financial Lines for Hong Kong, Macau, Taiwan and China — leading a team of 40 underwriters to drive growth within the region.

Before her time at AIG, she honed her skills at RSA for over a decade in roles including Practice Leader and Casualty Consultant.

In a LinkedIn announcement, Chris Colahan — AIG’s Regional President for APAC — celebrated Sze’s appointment, commenting, “Cynthia brings to the role more than 23 years of industry experience and a proven track record of heading high-performing teams. Since joining AIG in 2010, Cynthia has made valuable contributions to our business in these key markets and I can’t wait to see what she achieves next.”
