Allianz Commercial Australia has appointed Jamie Craig as Underwriting Manager, Dealer, the insurer announced in a company statement on LinkedIn.
Craig has nearly a decade of underwriting experience and joined Allianz from Zurich in May, where he spent over nine years, most recently as NSW/ACT Underwriting Manager for Motor.
In its statement, Allianz acknowledged Craig’s strong leadership background and said he would be responsible for helping to build Allianz’s Dealer proposition in the Broker market.
Craig said he was looking forward to the opportunity to lead a team of underwriters who “provide a market-leading packaged policy to dealerships around Australia.” He added that his immediate focus was to help increase Allianz’s market engagement with brokers and dealers.
