Amol Akhuj has been appointed as Allianz Commercial India’s new Head of Natural Resources & Construction, CB Murali—Allianz Commercial’s CEO for India—announced on LinkedIn.
Now based in Mumbai, Akhuj joins Allianz from Munich Re’s Singapore office, where he worked for over five years, most recently taking on the role of senior underwriter.
With over 20 years of industry experience, Akhuj has spent his career working for firms in both India and Singapore. He has held senior positions in underwriting for companies including, Helvetia Swiss Insurance, Asia Capital Re, and ICICI Lombard, among others.
