Aon’s Reinsurance Solutions has appointed Daniel England as head of casualty treaty for Asia Pacific, expanding his responsibilities alongside his existing leadership post in Japan.

England will continue as head of casualty and cyber treaty, Japan, a role he has held since 2020 after relocating to Tokyo to help build out Aon’s Japan casualty and cyber treaty team, the broker said in a LinkedIn post on Thursday.

In his expanded APAC remit, England will oversee regional collaboration across Aon’s casualty business “to help clients make better decisions to manage volatility, protect downside risk and diversify portfolios, particularly as casualty lines face pressures amidst shifting market dynamics. “

The announcement adds to other recent Aon leadership appointments in the APAC region. These include Jukgrid Treesuttamas as senior adviser for Thailand, Nathan Cheung as director and head of construction, power and infrastructure in Hong Kong, Minhyuk Jung as head of South Korea desk for the Global Broking Centre, Winnie Loh as real estate and data centre leader for Southeast Asia, and Alexander Eakins as client director for cyber solutions in Australia.
