Aon has appointed Chin Fong Teh as chief of staff, Asia Pacific, for its Reinsurance Solutions business, the broker said in a LinkedIn post Thursday.
Based in Singapore, Teh will report to Rupert Moore, CEO, APAC, Reinsurance Solutions, who relocated to Singapore from the UK in 2025.
In his new role, Teh will work with senior leadership to drive strategic priorities and strengthen operational effectiveness across the region, Aon said.
Teh brings around two decades of experience in reinsurance operations, transformation and regional leadership roles across the Asia Pacific market.
He was most recently operations director for APAC at Gallagher Re. He has also held senior roles at WTW, including a brief stint as executive director, and at Guy Carpenter as senior vice president.
Teh began his reinsurance career at Malaysian Re, where he spent nine years and rose to the role of vice president before moving into broking.
His appointment underscores Aon’s ongoing efforts to strengthen leadership capabilities within its Asia Pacific reinsurance business. The move follows the appointment of George Attard as global head of analytics for its reinsurance solutions business in March. Aon also brought in reinsurance veteran Jukgrid Treesuttamas as senior adviser for Thailand in April.
