Arch Insurance Australia today announced the appointment of Michael Faulkner as its Distribution & Engagement Lead, a newly created role, with immediate effect.
Sydney-based Faulkner brings over two decades of Australian insurance sector experience to his new position and will report directly to Dominic Brannigan, Regional Manager of Arch Insurance Australia.
His responsibilities will include managing and expanding strategic broker relationships within Australia and the Pacific region, as well as identifying and pursuing business development opportunities across all product lines to stimulate distribution growth, Arch Insurance said.
He will also collaborate closely with the Strategy and Distribution team at Arch Insurance International in London, under the leadership of Simon Williams, Chief Strategy & Distribution Officer.
Before joining Arch, Faulkner served as Strategic Relationship Manager, International and Strategic Commercial Partners at Vero Insurance. His career also includes a tenure as Relationship Manager, Commercial Intermediaries at QBE.
