CFC has appointed Gemma Hicks as cyber development manager for Australia, the managing general agent (MGA) announced on Tuesday, as it expands its cyber distribution capabilities and broker support across the Australian market.

Hicks joins after a three-year stint at Coalition, where she most recently served as business development manager.

She brings over two decades of experience in the insurance industry, spanning cyber, financial lines, and broker distribution. She previously held business development roles at BizCover for Brokers and underwriting positions at Allied World and Chubb.

Earlier this year, CFC expanded its technology and media offerings in the country with the launch of onshore underwriting and locally traded products. In 2026, the MGA also launched Lane Assist, an agentic underwriting pilot.
