Crawford Australia has appointed Chris Pickering as Western Australia property leader, the loss adjuster said on Monday.
Based in Perth, Pickering joins Crawford with 26 years of experience in the insurance industry, spanning property claims, loss adjusting and assessing.
He most recently led internal assessment teams across three Australian states at Holland Insurance. Prior to that, he managed complex and large-loss claims at Sedgwick and held senior assessor and claims management roles at Suncorp Group.
In his new role, he will oversee Crawford Australia’s property operations across metropolitan, regional and strata segments, while supporting teams and client relationships across Western Australia.
Pickering’s appointment is the latest in a series of leadership moves at Crawford Australia. The company recently promoted Simon Chenery to national executive adjuster and appointed Shuzaha Houghton as client development manager.
