• The 10,000-square-foot facility is designed to cater to the evolving financial and insurance needs of affluent and high-net-worth individuals.
• Facility aims to align with Hong Kong’s goal to position itself as a leading international hub for insurance and wealth management
• The launch comes amid strong growth in Hong Kong’s wealth and life insurance sectors.

Chubb Life Hong Kong has strengthened its presence in the city’s wealth management sector with the launch of its first dedicated wealth centre—the Chubb 1792 Club—at The Gateway in Tsim Sha Tsui.

The 10,000-square-foot facility is designed to cater to the evolving financial and insurance needs of affluent and high-net-worth (HNW) individuals in Hong Kong, as well as overseas clients seeking cross-border solutions.

In a statement, Chubb Life said the centre will provide a suite of personalised services in a premium lounge setting, reflecting growing demand for integrated wealth and insurance offerings.

“The launch reflects our long-standing commitment to serving the evolving needs of customers with differentiated, high-touch solutions that go beyond traditional insurance,” said Belinda Au, President of Chubb Life Hong Kong and Head of North Asia.

Chubb Life added that the launch aligns with Hong Kong’s ambition to position itself as a leading international hub for insurance and wealth management, bolstered by increasing inflows from both local and Mainland Chinese clients.

By the end of 2023, Hong Kong’s asset and wealth management sector had reached HK$31.2 trillion, with non-residents accounting for 64% of assets under management.

The life insurance market, in particular, saw strong growth, achieving record sales in 2024. Mainland Chinese visitors spent HK$62.8 billion on life, critical illness and medical cover—an increase of 6.5% year-on-year.

The opening of the Chubb 1792 Club coincides with the expansion of Chubb Life’s high-net-worth product suite, which includes the MyLegacy Insurance Plan III, Future Achiever Savings Plan II and the Infinity Prestige Life Insurance Plan.
