Coface has appointed Ivor Miric as head of debt collection sales for Asia Pacific, effective 2 July, the company announced.
Based in Hong Kong, Miric joins from Atradius Collections, where he spent more than 12 years and most recently served as collections manager for the Middle East, India and Africa. He previously held Asia Pacific-focused sales and business development roles at the company.
In his new role, he will lead the development of Coface’s debt collection business across the region, with responsibility for growing the portfolio and deepening client relationships.
He reports to Peter Solomon, chief commercial officer for Asia Pacific at Coface, with a dotted reporting line to Emre Ozer, group debt collection and surety business development director.
“We are pleased to have Ivor lead our Debt Collection service in Asia Pacific,” Solomon said. “His extensive regional experience, strong understanding of client needs and proven ability to build partnerships across diverse markets will be valuable as we strengthen and grow our debt collection capabilities across the region.”
His appointment follows other recent leadership changes announced by Coface in the APAC region, including James Yau as head of commercial, Southeast Asia and head of mid-market, Asia Pacific, and Agnes Chan appointed as regional head of partnerships. The insurer also appointed Vy Le as Vietnam country manager and promoted Darren Chan to country manager for Malaysia and head of the Philippines.
