AIG has announced the promotion of Doris Chan to the role of Head of Financial Lines for Hong Kong & Macau.
Chan, an experienced professional who has 18 years industry experience, has been with AIG Hong Kong for 12 years. She initially joined the company as Manager of Financial Lines in 2012, before being promoted to Senior Manager in 2013.
Since 2015, Chan has held the title of Assistant Vice President. The latest step up in her career will see her take charge of the Financial Lines division.
Cynthia Sze, General Manager for Hong Kong & Macau, has expressed her support for Chan’s appointment in a statement: “With over 18 years’ industry experience, Doris has made valuable contributions to the Financial Lines business and I look forward to seeing all that she will achieve in her new role,” Sze stated.
This promotion recognises Chan’s contribution to AIG’s Financial Lines business over the years for what Sze described as her “well-deserved promotion.”
