Gallagher India has made a series of key leadership appointments, the company announced in a series of posts on LinkedIn, reinforcing its senior team with several seasoned professionals from the insurance and finance sectors.
Ajit Singh Horra has been appointed Managing Director at Gallagher India, following a 20-year stint at Aon Global, where he most recently served Senior Executive Vice President. With a 36-year career in the general insurance industry, he brings extensive expertise in Business Interruption, Property Damage, and Construction insurance. His prior experience also includes senior roles at United India Insurance and Prudent Insurance.
Puneet Gehani has been named Chief Business Officer at Gallagher India with 24 years of experience in general insurance. He joins the company after working for Prudent Insurance Brokers for over seven years, where he most recently served as Vice President. He also held a key leadership position at Aon Global.
Hari Kamath has been appointed as Chief Finance Officer at Gallagher, bringing over 20 years of experience in finance and people management. He most recently worked as the Finance Director of Buck, a Gallagher company, which he first joined in 2019. Prior to that, Kamath has taken on senior roles at companies, including JP Morgan, SCI, Worldline, and Panalpina.
Dev Bhutani joins Gallagher as Head of Strategy and Client Management. He moves from Prudent Insurance Brokers, where he has worked for over seven years, most recently as Vice President for Large Accounts Practice. Bhutani has over two decades of experience in the general insurance industry, with prior roles including leadership positions at Aon Global and IFFCO-Tokio.
Saurabh Gupta has been named Head of the North Region. With 18 years of experience in corporate insurance broking, he has previously worked at Aditya Birla, Aon Global, and most recently, Prudent Insurance Brokers where he worked for over seven years as Vice President.
