Gallagher Re has appointed Jennifer Wen as an Executive Director in its Taiwan team, the reinsurance broker said in a LinkedIn post on October 2.
Wen has more than 30 years of experience in the reinsurance treaty markets in Taiwan and Guam. In her new role, she will lead the growth and expansion of Gallagher Re’s Taiwan business.
The appointment comes as Gallagher Re has been strengthening its presence across Asia. In July, the broker said it had taken full control of its Japan property and casualty facultative portfolio, and named Pablo Muñoz as CEO of Global Facultative Reinsurance. In May, the firm appointed Chulmin (CM) Jang as CEO of its Korea operations.
