Allianz Commercial has confirmed via LinkedIn that it has appointed Gany Subramaniam as its new Regional Head of Distribution in Asia, to lead its broker distribution strategy for the region.
Before taking up the new position, Gany worked at Allianz Asia Pacific as their Head of Commercial Sales, where he was responsible for developing and implementing distribution strategies and delivering segment-specific business direction and management. His tenure at Allianz Asia Pacific was preceded by time as CEO of Allianz Insurance Lanka Limited in Colombo, from 2019 to 2022.
Gany has 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. Before joining Allianz, he had a 16-year stint at AIG, across various senior positions.
