Generali Global Corporate & Commercial (GC&C) has appointed Dan Cunningham as Head of Risk Engineering & Loss Prevention, Asia, the company announced on LinkedIn on Tuesday, 15 July.

Before joining Generali, Cunningham founded and led Eden Risk Consultants in England in 2017, which specialises in providing strategic loss control and risk engineering services.

He is relocating to Hong Kong for his new role, bringing extensive experience from previous engineering positions with insurers like AIG and FM, and a career that has spanned India, Singapore, and the UK.

Cunningham’s appointment comes as Generali GC&C expands its presence in key Asian markets, including the launch of operations in India and key hires, such as the promotion of Jonathan Wong to Head of Marine Underwriting for Asia in June.
