Allied World Assurance Company (AWAC) has appointed Hafiz Zakaria as Marine Underwriter, Elaine Wong, VP of AWAC’s APAC Marine Division, announced on LinkedIn.
Zakaria joins after serving at AIG for a decade. “With a strong background in underwriting and networking, he will play an important role in our continued growth and success in the company,” Wong said.
Prior to his time at AIG, Zakaria worked as an Underwriting Assistant at Amlin for five years.
