Heng Zee Wang has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of AIA Malaysia, effective 30 October, the company announced on LinkedIn on 6 November.

Wang has been with the company for over 13 years, most recently serving as its Chief Health Officer. He succeeds Ben Ng, who recently assumed the role of Group Chief Risk Officer for AIA.

He has over three decades of industry experience. Before joining the company, he held numerous actuarial and leadership positions for firms across Asia, including Prudential, New York Life International, and PCI Life Korea.

“With over a decade of impactful leadership at AIA, Zee Wang brings deep expertise across actuarial, marketing, healthcare, and distribution,” the company noted in its announcement.
