Lockton Asia has appointed Michael Griffiths as regional director, healthcare, within its Professional & Executive Risk and Credit team, the broker said on Friday.
Griffiths joined Lockton last year and has more than three decades of insurance broking experience, specialising in healthcare risks, including medical malpractice and clinical trials insurance. His previous experience includes regional director at Howden, where he spent more than seven years. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Aon across multiple senior roles.
The appointment follows several senior leadership changes at Lockton Asia. Earlier today, Lockton also announced the appointment of Martin Allain as head of wholesale within its regional placement team in Asia.
Other appointments over the last month include Alberto Ferriolo as regional growth leader for Marine & Transportation in Asia, Sandra Lee as chief growth officer for Risk Solutions, Asia, and Yuman Chan as chief growth officer for People Solutions, Asia.
