Manulife Investment Management has promoted Marc Franklin to Head of Multi-Asset Solutions, Asia.
Based in Singapore, Frankin joined in 2021, most recently as deputy head of multi-asset management solutions. Prior to joining Manulife, he previously led flexible multi-asset strategies at NN Investment Partners in the Netherlands.
He brings over 19 years of industry experience. Earlier in his career, he worked for firms such as Conning Asia Pacific, JPMorgan Asset Management, Henderson Global Investors and Nevsky Capital.
In his new role, Franklin will oversee the development and delivery of multi-asset investment solutions across retail, retirement and institutional channels. He will continue to report to Luke Browne, global head of multi-asset solutions.
“Asia’s diverse demographics—from aging economies to younger, fast‑growing markets—are driving a broad spectrum of investment needs, reinforcing the importance of outcome‑oriented, multi‑asset solutions across the region. Marc brings deep multi‑asset expertise and a solutions‑driven mindset, and his leadership will be instrumental as we continue to build on the momentum of the business and deliver resilient outcomes for our clients across Asia,” Browne commented on the announcement.
The promotion comes as Manulife continues to refresh its leadership bench in the region, including the appointment of Wilton Kee as chief executive officer of Manulife Hong Kong and Macau from 1 July 2026, subject to regulatory approval.
