MS First Capital Insurance (MSFC) has appointed Esther Tan as Head of Marine, the company announced on LinkedIn this week.
She joins MSFC from Income Insurance, where she served as Manager, Marine for nearly three years.
Her career spans over 25 years in marine insurance and underwriting across the Asia region, including time in marine underwriting roles at QBE, Great American, and China Taiping.
The appointment follows AM Best’s recent upgrade of MS First Capital’s Financial Strength Rating to A+ (Superior) from A (Excellent) in October, citing the Singapore insurer’s strong operating performance and robust balance sheet as key factors behind the decision.
