Prudential has announced the appointment of Anette Bronder as its Chief Technology & Operations Officer, a new position within the company, effective 1 May.
Based in Hong Kong, Bronder will report directly to Chief Executive Officer Anil Wadhwani and will become a member of the Group Executive Committee. Her appointment aligns with Prudential’s group strategy, announced in August 2023, to strengthen its organisational capabilities
Bronder joins from KPMG, where she is a Partner working on on digital transformation projects in the insurance sector. Her background also includes time as Group Chief Operating Officer at Swiss Re, along with senior roles in the technology and telecommunications industries.
Her focus will be on enhancing financial and operational efficiency, leveraging economies of skill and scale across 24 markets, and improving customer experience.

Previously, the technology segment was managed by Solmaz Altin, Managing Director, Strategic Business Group. Altin will now concentrate on expanding the company’s Health business within his Strategic Business Group.
Ashley Veasey, the current Chief Information Technology Officer, will report to Bronder as they work to advance the Technology function.
