Prudential Assurance Company Singapore has appointed Manu Tandon as chief health and protection officer, the insurer said in a LinkedIn post.

He brings more than 20 years of experience across Singapore and Asia, with expertise spanning health, protection and employee benefits.

Tandon joins Prudential from HSBC, where he served as chief health officer. Before that, he spent more than 14 years at Aviva Singapore in a series of senior employee benefits and healthcare leadership roles, most recently as director of employee benefits and healthcare.

Tandon brings “deep expertise in Health, Protection and Employee Benefits, along with a strong track record of driving growth, transformation and innovation across multiple distribution channels”, Prudential said in its announcement.

The appointment follows recent leadership moves at Prudential Singapore, including the promotions of Jimmy Wang to chief actuary and Lee Jiat Liauw to chief product officer in April.
