QBE Insurance Malaysia has named Denise Ng as country lead for marine, effective 8 December 2025, the insurer announced via LinkedIn.
Ng joins after nearly 10 years at The Pacific Insurance, where she most recently served as head of marine underwriting. Before this, she spent over a decade at ACE Group. In her new role, she brings extensive experience in marine hull, cargo, builder’s risk, and ship repairer’s liability.
“With 18 years of experience in marine insurance […] her proven track record in crafting innovative client solutions positions her strongly to lead QBE Malaysia’s marine underwriting team,” the business said.
The appointment follows a series of senior leadership moves by QBE in the region, including the designation of Sebastian Tjornelund as Asia head of marine underwriting and the promotion of Shelby Tan to head of risk and compliance in Singapore.
