Aon on Thursday announced the promotion of Magnus Roe to Global Chief Data and Analytics Officer.
Singapore serves as Aon’s global analytics hub, and Roe, who joined the business in Singapore in 2013, will continue to be stationed there.
He reports directly to Mindy Simon, Chief Operating Officer, and will work closely with Andy Marcell, CEO of Risk Capital, and Lambros Lambrou, CEO of Human Capital.
Roe’s responsibilities will include integrating AI, data governance, data strategy, and analytics into Aon’s overarching data and analytics strategy. This includes aligning the business’s data privacy expertise with legal and compliance standards. He will also work closely with Aon’s Risk Capital and Human Capital analytics teams, Aon said.
“We are excited about the expertise and leadership Magnus brings to this role and the opportunity to accelerate Aon’s full breadth of data and analytics solutions for our clients.”, said Simon.
Roe had been serving as the Head of Strategy for Risk Analytics, and previous roles during his time at Aon include global COO for reinsurance analytics and various senior roles within the Aon Center for Innovation & Analytics. Prior to joining the business, Roe also held roles at Barclays and KPMG.
