Starr has appointed Jane Tung as head of casualty in Hong Kong, the firm announced on Friday.

Tung joins from Swiss Re Corporate Solutions, where she worked for over seven years, most recently serving as senior distribution manager. Earlier in her career, she held senior roles at firms including Zurich, FWD, and QBE.

She brings extensive industry experience, with a particular focus on casualty insurance. In her new role, Tung “will be responsible for building and enhancing our casualty book, driving growth, and strengthening our market position in Hong Kong,” the company said in its announcement.

Tung’s appointment follows other recent leadership changes by Starr in APAC, including Jean Michoud as regional travel partnerships lead, Asia-Pacific; Vichai Laotrakul as CEO of Thailand; and Vivian Xiao as head of financial lines for China.
