Swiss Re has appointed Giv Kahrom as Head of Cyber for Asia, a newly created role. He will continue to be based in Singapore and report directly to Dani Tobler, Global Head Cyber.
Kahrom brings significant experience to his new role, having served at Munich Re Singapore as Regional Senior Cyber Underwriter for Asia over the last four and a half years.
Prior to that, he held various roles at AIG in Switzerland, including Practice Leader for Cyber & Professional Indemnity and Financial Lines Underwriter.
Tobler said he was delighted to welcome Kahrom to the team, adding that “Kahrom’s new role in Asia allows us to broaden our reach and create a foothold in this crucial growth region.”
Simultaneously, Swiss Re announced that Alex Stubbs would join the team as the Senior Cyber Underwriter for the UK market in March, operating from Zurich and also reporting to Tobler.
